Protocol
Storage & Handling
Long-Term Storage
Store lyophilized peptide at −20°C. Under these conditions the product remains stable for up to 24 months from the date of manufacture.
After Reconstitution
Once reconstituted, store at 4°C and use within 30 days. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles as this may degrade compound integrity.
Shipping Conditions
All orders ship in insulated packaging with cooling packs to maintain the cold chain during transit. Free on every order, no minimum required.

Frequently Asked Questions
The color comes from the copper(II) ion complexed within the tripeptide structure. Cu²⁺ forms a coordination complex with the histidine imidazole group and the N-terminal amine, producing the characteristic blue-green appearance. This coloration is expected and confirms proper copper chelation — not a quality concern.
Third-party analysis confirmed 58.75mg actual content in the labeled 50mg vial. We intentionally overfill to ensure every researcher receives at minimum the labeled amount, accounting for any handling or measurement variation during research use.
GHK-Cu can be challenging to dissolve in plain bacteriostatic water alone. Researchers often use a small volume of 0.6% acetic acid first to aid dissolution, then dilute with bacteriostatic water to the desired concentration. Gently swirl — do not shake — and allow adequate time.
GHK-Cu appears in cosmetic formulations as Copper Tripeptide-1. However, our research-grade GHK-Cu is synthesized for laboratory research purposes only and is not intended for topical application or human use in any form.
Our GHK-Cu is verified at ≥98% purity via third-party HPLC analysis. The current batch is confirmed at 99.92% by Apex Analytics Lab — our highest-purity compound. A full COA ships with every order.
